Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS BEFORE SUBMITING THE VILLA BOOKING FORM

1. BOOKINGS & ENQUIRIES.
It is necessary that you telephone or e-mail first to confirm of your reservation prior to sending the completed VILLA BOOKING FORM. The person who makes the booking accepts these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all members of the party and agree to comply with them. By making this booking you confirm that you are acting with the consent of the party you are making the booking for.

2. PAYMENTS.
With each reservation a deposit of 25% is required. On receipt of your completed Villa Booking Form, accommodation will be reserved (subject to availability). A confirmation of holiday reservation, detailing all the information concerning the accommodation, will be given to you (by e-mail, or post or fax).

The balance of the rental fee should be paid at least EIGHT (8) WEEKS before the commencement of the holiday.

If an application is made for accommodation to be taken up within eight weeks, the full rental fee will be required with the reservation application. In this case other arrangements for payment can be also negotiable. If Coral Sun Villas or the Villa Owner(s) refuse or cancel any reservation in accordance with clause 15 below, but does not offer an alternative accommodation(s) of similar standard in the same general area or in other resort in the island of Cyprus (subject to availability), the Villa Owner(s) will be required to fully refund any payments made to it. For the avoidance of doubt, if an alternative accommodation(s) as above is offered but you do not accept it, the Villa Owner(s) is under no obligation to refund any sums paid to it.

In case that you cancel the booking before or during the stay for any reason whatsoever no refund will be made for any monies paid. In case that the cancellation is made by you after the booking of the villa but before you pay any amount for the booking costs, you are liable to pay 25% of the total booking cost. In certain cases any loss, if incurred involuntarily, may be covered by insurance that you may have taken out. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.

3. RESERVATIONS AND RESERVATION FORM.
To arrange a reservation please fill in the VILLA BOOKING FORM and submit it to us. No reservation will be accepted from any person under 18 years. It is important that these TERMS and CONDITIONS are read carefully.

Verbal bookings will be held for 4 Days, or as agreed with the Villa Owner(s) and we request that cancellations of reservations are confirmed by telephone as soon as possible.

4. BED LINEN, COTS & HIGH CHAIRS, EXTRAS.
All bedding is provided. Visitors must bring their own beach towels. Baby cots and high chairs can be provided to each villa without extra cost. Air conditioning and sauna / Jacuzzi facilities of the villa, are optional / on request and change extra, except otherwise agreed. We offer maid service once a week or otherwise as agreed.

5. PERSONAL INSURANCE COVER/LIABILITY.
Visitors are strongly advised to obtain holiday insurance with suitable cover. The use of the accommodation is at the visitor’s risk and no liability will be accepted by us and/or the Villa Owner(s) for any loss or damage of belongings, or personal injury or death however incurred. Your insurance company will be pleased to advise you.

6. COLLECTION OF KEYS & NOTIFICATION OF ARRIVAL.
Visitors are required to contact the Villa Owner(s) at least 4 weeks before arrival date to (a) request where keys are to be obtained (if this information was not given to them before) and (b) to advise estimated time of arrival.

7. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE.
Visitors must clearly understand that the accommodation will NOT BE AVAILABLE BEFORE 3.00p.m on the arrival date. On the day of departure the visitor must arrange to leave NOT LATER THAN 10.30a.m. If there a gap in the change over rental period quests may be able to stay in the villa until departure time, but this must be pre-arranged with the Villa Owner(s).

8. BREAKAGES AND CLEANLINESS.
The accommodation is made available for letting on the dear understanding that if is left in a THOROUGHLY CLEAN AND TIDY CONTITION at the time of vacating by the visitor. The visitor must also ensure that all waste is removed from the premises. The visitor will be held responsible for any damage or breakages that occur and such incidents must be reported to the Villa Owner(s) and the required compensation paid. Visitors are not permitted to move furniture or equipment without prior consent of the Villa Owner(s). If approval is given to move anything, it will be the visitors responsibility to return the same to the original position before departure. Equipment must not me moved from the premises for use outside.

9. CONTRACT.
The visitor and his/her party have the right to occupy the accommodation for the purpose of a holiday only. The accommodation is to be occupied by the confirmed party ONLY and no authority will be given for other persons (other than those accepted by the reservation) to have access or use of accommodation unless permission has been requested and agreed by the Villa Owner(s) or his/her authorised representatives. Under no circumstances may the number of persons exceed the maximum number of persons as quoted. It is not permissible to assign, let, part with possession of the accommodation, nor allow any other person other than those named on the Booking Form received to occupy the accommodation.

10. BEHAVIOUR.

It is the visitor’s responsibility to ensure that he/she and the members of his/her party and any guests they may have do not behave in a boisterous way or in a way which causes offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property or damages property belonging to others. In such circumstances the Villa Owner(s) have the right to terminate arrangements made on behalf of the visitor and the members of his/her party, in which case the Villa Owner(s)’s responsibility to the visitor and his/her party ceases immediately and there can be no refunds, no payment of compensation and no reimbursement of any cost or expenses they may incur as a result. Further, the visitor and his/her guests will be liable to reimburse the Villa Owner(s) for any damage suffered and any costs, expenses, fees (whether professional or otherwise) incurred by the Villa Owner(s) or its agents as a result of the guests' behaviour. The Villa Owner(s) and or his/her agent(s) maintain the right to visit and check the property indoors and outdoors at their own discretion without prior notice.

11. AIR-CONDITIONING / LIGHTINGS
Be aware that excessive use of electricity may overload the electricity lines with a chance of a power cut.

a) AIR-CONDITIONING . Your use of all air-conditioning units of the villa is entitled to
comply with the following CONDITIONS.

The visitor and or his / her party must:-

-Be economical with the air-conditioning switching on the units WHEN NEEDED and make sure that, when they leave the villa during their stay, ALL THE UNITS ARE SWITCHED OFF. Note that approximately 1-2 MINUTES after turning-on, the air-conditioner will bring the room temperature at the desired level.

-Ensure that when the air-conditioning units are working ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS have to be closed, as the compressors are likely to be severely damaged. Furthermore, the units themselves may be destroyed depriving to them of their service.

-Note: THE NORMAL TEMPERATURE FOR COOL IS 25-26 DEGREES AND FOR HEATING 27 DEGREES.

b) LIGHTINGS

The visitor and or his / her party must:-

-Ensure that all indoor and outdoor lightings around the villa are switched off AT NIGHT BEFORE THEY RETIRE. In addition to eating up electricity they will attract unwelcome insects and mosquitoes. Make sure to do the same before leaving the villa.

-Check in the morning to make sure that outdoor lights have not been left on, not always easy to see in the bright sunshine.

12. MATTERS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
We take no responsibility for matters beyond our control, e,g war, civil unrest,terrorist activity, industrial disputes, bad weather conditions and other circumstances beyond our control. In addition, we cannot be held responsible for building works in the vicinity of the villas and we cannot accept any liability in this case.

13. ACCURACY OF PRINTED MATTER.
While every possible care is taken in preparation of the accommodation details advertised, the visitor will fully appreciate that the human element cannot be disregarded and the Villa Owner(s) will not accept any liability for any loss incurred. Should an error be made and later noted all those concerned will be notified.

14. Liability.
In consideration of the fact that we act only as a booking agent, we accept no liability whatsoever for any aspect of the arrangements and, in particular, accepts no liability for any loss, personal injury/illness or death however incurred. Although we use all reasonable endeavours to ensure the accuracy of all information provided and the quality and facilities of the villas, we cannot accept any liability whatsoever for any problems that occur while guests occupy the villa of their choice. All information has been provided in good faith and no liability is accepted whatsoever by us for any misrepresentation of villa material or accommodation.

15. Cancellation by Coral Sun Villas or the Villa Owner(s).
Coral Sun Villas and the Villa Owner(s) reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation without being under obligation to assign any reason and will accept no liability in respect of the refusal or cancellation.

If deemed necessary Coral Sun Villas reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the villa booking. In this unlikely event you will be offered an alternative accommodation(s) of similar standard in the same general area (subject to availability) with the price difference payable/refundable as appropriate. No compensation is payable by us.

16. Building Work.
Any building work which may commence in the local area is outside of our control, and we cannot be held responsible for any resulting disturbance. We will offer you the opportunity to transfer to an alternative property at the advertised price. Whilst we assure you of our best endeavours to minimize any inconvenience we regret that we cannot accept any liability in this case.

17. Complaints.
Once a villa has been booked and paid for in full, the Villa Owner(s)' details will be provided, and thereafter guests will be liaising directly with the Villa Owner(s). In the unlikely event of a problem with your villa occurring, whilst you are in Cyprus, you must inform the Villa Owner(s) so that the matter can be put right. If the Villa Owner(s) cannot resolve the problem to your satisfaction, at the time, you may contact us by telephoning to us so that we given the opportunity to try to assist. All claims must be addressed directly to the Villa Owner(s). We cannot accept any liability in this case.

18.Alterations by us.
Although we make every effort to ensure that advertised descriptions are correct, Coral Sun Villas does not own any of the Other Villas and therefore cannot control or prevent changes. Although changes to villas advertised are infrequent, we reserves the right to change the description of any villa or service at any time, in which case we will endeavour to notify you of all changes before commencement of the booking date, if it is practical to do so and if the changes are major. No compensation will be payable by us in such cases. No claims will be accepted for costs or additional expenses incurred as a result of any changes.

19. Applicable law and jurisdiction.

All bookings through us and all matters arising from them are subject to Cyprus law and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.

20. Booking agents.

Coral Sun Villas acts as booking agent for the Villa Owner(s) in relation to all bookings of Other Villas made through this website. For the avoidance of doubt, Coral Sun Villas accepts no responsibility other than as set out in these terms and conditions.

Definitions.

In these terms and conditions the terms below have the meaning attributed to the:

“Other Villas” means all villas advertised through this website but it does not include the following villas: Apollon Harmony (ref. 201), Dionysos Tranquil (ref. 301), Poseidon Prestigious (ref. 401) and Zeus Sublime (ref. 501).

“Villa Owner(s)” means the owner(s) of the villa(s).
